Have Things Changed?

This is a question for both the fellas and the ladies.
Some gender roles have been maintained and others have dissolved over time. What are your thoughts? Do you expect certain things? Are there ones that no matter how much time passes you still want to preserve? Which ones are most important?

Cooking, cleaning, paying, fixing things, decision making, sex, holding doors, who drives, salary, who controls the remote, and anything else. The list is endless and nothing is off limits for this conversation.

P.S. I want to hear from both sides. One more thing, for all those people who love to stay anonymous, just be sure to add whether you are male or female.

The events of the past months have got me dreaming

"Miss Independant"

Have I made a mistake,
somewhere along the way?
Learning to do more than bake.
Millions of ideas and things to say.

There was no man around,
of course I filled in the gap.
I learned to stand my ground,
inside the lines or off the map.

Business is a place I excell.
I can handle more than tools.
There isn't much I couldn't sell.
Life lessons provide my schools.

You've no idea to what lengths.
At the gym I may have you beat.
in trivia or in physical strengths.
Game on the line, I'll be off my seat.

I try my best to do it all.
To you its just an assault.
As a result you feel small.
Somehow its all my fault.

What your eyes fail to see.
I feel like a royal princess.
When its just you and me.
Never who can do more or less.

You want "Miss Independant" in theory.
Obsessed about what we can compare
You're true desires are a mystery.
It's supposed to be about what we share.

Superwoman to everyone except you.
I try to be limited by very few things.
It's not just about me, its about you too.
Be supportive when I spread my wings.

If it's not enough to be my rock.
What you really want, it's not me
Now, on the other side of the lock.
Be like that, give back my key.

The Best Gift Of All

Its 3:45am on christmas morning all the kids were tucked away dreaming of today.
But in the master bedroom father and mother are deciding to play.
Father lend over and gave mother a kiss on her back and her ass a gentle smack.
He knew that was her spot, so mother got extremely hot and she attack.
Mother pounced on father with lust in her eyes, he insisted that they woke up the kids, she strongly denies, and makes him take a little dive
With her legs around his ears he brought her to great pleasure, it must be santa's gift cause his manhood grew longer then he could measure.
Father jumps into mothers pool with his brand new tool,bringing her too a classic and amazing O
Its now his turn and he finishes with a ho ho ho.
The time is now 5:15 and the sun begins to rise its an amazing, so have a great christmas and too all a good night.

The Night Before Christmas

I lost you I know.
There's no right thing to say.
No way to show.
Without you to end the day.
It was never a game
And I am to blame.

Apologies are they worth it? Its done is it not?
Your hand was on the door I could feel the sting when it started to turn. You were more to me than you could know. You were the bright spot on some of the darkest days.

I wouldn't tell you and its my fault for that. You asked for my holiday and I couldn't give it to you. I don't know how many more she has. Any other day and I would have moved mountains.

You stuck it out longer than I could have ever imagined. Hell we started with you walking away. I never wanted to ask you stay that seemed unfair, unrealistic.

I truly want you to be happy, even when I know that isn't around me. I may have been nothing, than you won't feel a thing.

Never know what we could have had, just that it ended bad.
