So I'm working on a new poem (not really they're usually off the top of my head) and it's about friendship and a few other issues tossed in.
Got me thinking about a little experiment. I want all the readers to write (make a list) down all the people you consider "true" friends. You don't have to use their real names, in fact don't use their real names come up with clever nicknames that only that person and/or your group of friends will know.
You may be surprised at your list. You may be even more surprised at who "doesn't" make your list. And please don't be scared to hurt someone's feelings that thought you two were cool...ha. The truth hurts bitches!!

My list to come...hope you can figure it out.
Growing up you always thought the uncool kid in school only had a few friends. You had to have lots of friends to be cool. My mom told me as I grew up that you can count your "good" friends on one hand maybe two. Now that I am older she was right. I have a lot of aquaintences, but my friends, I would say about 9. Those are the people who I love spending time with, know EVERYTHING about me and I know care about my well being.
here's my list:

5. rat-tail (i know you may not know everything about me and we may not be that close, but i know that you would be there for me anytime i needed you and that's a "true" friend)
and if siblings (including in-laws) can be included, then that adds 7 more to my list!
