Was talking to a girl friend yesterday and she was telling me about how perfect this guy is she knows. She kept raving about him, so my question to her was...
"why is he not your man?"
Her answer...
"oh he is just my friend. I don't see him like that."
It made me think damn he is in FRIENDSHIPLAND.
Friendshipland is that place between heaven and hell, its where you get all the responsibility of being a boyfriend without the fun stuff. You get to see her cry on your shoulder, listen to her talk about other guys that treat her like shit, you go to movies, you are the one that picks her up when she is down, but at the end of the day you are just her buddy. Fellas when you hear something like, "your such a good friend" or "your friendship means a lot to me." Know you have just turned right onto friendship ave with no rest stops in your future.
There is hope though fellas, women always seem to figure it out you just have to wait at least 20 years. You hear those stories about how people get married after years apart, that is because he was in friendshipland.
With that said, fellas you'll get the girl if you hang in there. She'll have some scars but hey if she is worth it you can shine her up like a diamond.

I am not blaming the woman on this sitution it is definalty the man's fault that he is in the "friend zone." I think being friends first is a great way to start off a relationship but you can be friends and still have her attracted to you at the same time. When the man starts acting in an atractive manner, the woman will not be able to hold herself back.
